Firelight[Saunders, 1950]. Herbaceous, Pink, Single Blooms. It is an Early Midseason bloomer. A cool, light pink, with red-purple highlights of center flares, Filaments and stigmas--a striking combination. Medium size bush, good in the mixed border. Summer foliage appearance benefited by shade in the Midwest. Triploid, a Saunders Quads Hybrid. Firelight blooms 11 days before Red Charm.
